New Hampshire Film Fest Update

So I'm on day three of the 4 day festival, and what a crazy exciting festival it's been! I've seen some absolutely awesome films and had the chance to interview a few of their makers.

I had every intention of posting some reviews while the festival goes on, but now I realize that that's just not going to happen. There are far too many interesting and exciting things going on for me to spend much time at the computer. But, in exchange, what I will do is give you a little taste of what I'll be working hard to bring to you next week.

Roger Memos talks about his film, Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity

Roger Memos talks about his film, Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity

The first film I had the pleasure of seeing on Thursday was a documentary about actress Marsha Hunt and the struggles she's gone through after being put on Hollywood's cold war era blacklist. The name of the film is Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity and it's maker is Roger Memos. I also had the opportunity to sit down with Roger and talk about the film. I look forward to bringing you both my thoughts on the film and the interview within a few days.

Another film I'm excited to review is
Experimenter. It's about social psychologist Stanley Milgram and the famous experiments he conducted in the 60's to find out how far people will go in order to obey who they perceive as an authority.

Some of the other films I've seen during the festival so far and plan to review are
Lost Conquest, Brew Hampshire, Killing them Safely, Digging for Fire, some short films and many more.

As you can see, I've got my work cut out for me in order to bring you my thoughts on all of these terrific films, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I look forward to this festival all year long and enjoy telling everyone about these little-known films. So check back often because there's sure to be something new!
